Crooks Volunteer Fire Department
The Crooks Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1927. The department
started out with a single horse drawn chemical cart and 12 volunteers. As
the City of Crooks has grown, so too has the local fire department. Today we
are staffed by 24 dedicated volunteers and respond to fire, medical and
other emergencies with a fleet of 6 vehicles. The Crooks VFD is always looking
