Valley Springs Fire & Rescue
Valley Springs Fire Department was established in 1898. We are one of the
oldest fire departments in South Dakota. We celebrated 100 years of dedicated
service to the Valley Springs community in 1998. We are the only fire
department to still have water fights with mutual aid departments. Valley
Springs mutual aids with Brandon, Split Rock and Garretson. We also mutual
aid with Beaver Creek, Minnesota and Larchwood, Iowa.
